The Programme Implementation Board, established in 2017, oversees and drives progress on the implementation of the Mulvey Report and the NEIC Strategic Plan 2020 – 2022 and Refresh Plan 2023.
The current Independent Chair, Mr. Jim Gavin, was appointed to the position by Government in May 2023.
The Board meets every month and comprises the key Government departments and agencies that have statutory responsibility for delivery of services alongside community and business representatives. The minutes of the PIB meetings are published every month on the Publications section of our website.
The Programme Implementation Board is assisted in its work by six Subgroups comprised of Departments, Government agencies and community representatives.
