“The North East Inner City (NEIC) Programme Implementation Board is delighted to formally join Croke Park in supporting these very important local awards. They are an opportunity to recognise young people, who, day in, day out show courage, kindness, care, and commitment, not only in their own lives but also by going the extra mile to help others in their communities. It is vital to give the young people of Dublin North Central an opportunity to share their remarkable stories and become champions and provide an inspiration to all of us” said Michael Stone, Chairperson the NEIC Programme Implementation Board.
“These are very challenging times that we are living through. Despite all the turmoil, we know there are incredible young people in Dublin North Central, who continue to quietly help their families, their friends, and their communities every day, undeterred by the pandemic. As proud supporters of the awards, we’re calling on parents, teachers, youth workers and neighbours to seize this special opportunity to make sure these local young people are acknowledged & celebrated for their extraordinary efforts” Croke Park Stadium.
